Get Together

We continue our music series, the summers of Love, this week using one of the most iconic and seminal songs of the 60's; Get Together by the Youngbloods. Get Together really exemplified the best thinking of the era. "Come on people now smile on your brother everybody get together now try to love one another right now" was a rallying cry for how we should behave and be with each other.

I believe the time is ripe to now reclaim the idea and begin to express the ideas and thinking behind the lyrics and I can not think of a better spokes person then our own Gerry Boylan to lead this service. Gerry and his band of musical minstrels will provide the music and Gerry will provide the lesson. Rev Ray will be the meditation guide and Robbin Goodin will be the song leader.
