WHERE FINE ART BECOMES AN EXPERIENCE
Enter a world where glass, light, music, movement and theatrical storytelling come together for one extraordinary evening.
The Awakening is an immersive art installation celebrating the artistic legacy and enduring creative vision of Columbus artist Corbett Reynolds, creator of the original Glass Menagerie.
At the heart of the evening are 10 monumental glass totems — 10 living archetypes — modern expressions inspired by Corbett's iconic Glass Menagerie. Created from Corbett Reynolds' extraordinary glass collection, the totems were completed following his passing by his friend and fellow artist, David Borchers, as a tribute to Corbett's creative spirit.
The collection has been generously donated for this special event by philanthropist Richard Eberhard.
Together, these remarkable works tell a story of artistic vision, friendship, transformation and legacy.
10 TOTEMS. 10 ARCHETYPES. ONE AWAKENING.
Throughout the evening, guests will enter an immersive world of illuminated glass, original music, live musicians, movement and performance.
Guided by the Muse, our luminous curator, the ten archetypes will be revealed with intention and a touch of magic — inviting guests not simply to observe the art, but to experience it.
Each totem represents a different expression of the human journey, brought to life through dramatic lighting, sound and live performance.
This is more than an art exhibition. It is art awakened.
A RARE COLLECTOR'S OPPORTUNITY
For this special evening, all ten monumental glass totems will be offered for acquisition through private written bidding, giving collectors a rare opportunity to take home one of these extraordinary works and become part of the continuing story of Corbett Reynolds' artistic legacy.
The evening will also feature a silent auction of select Red Party memorabilia, celebrating another remarkable chapter of Corbett's creative history and his legendary Red Party.
