School Supplies Drive

Each July we gather back-packs and school supplies for the children at Englehart Elementary School. This is the elementary school closest to the church and many of the children are from lower income and homeless families. We know education transforms children's lives and we can assist in the transformation by supporting them on the journey.

Food Pantry

Our Women's Group has joined together to create and sustain a food pantry for Jefferson County Public School students at Engelhart and Wheatley, many who go hungry at home on the weekends and evenings.

Hug a Bunny

In 2002 the Hug a Bunny project was started at Unity of Louisville. People donate stuffed bunnies and other stuffed animals and place them in the pews. On Sunday's in March and April, the congregation passes them around, hugging them and filling them with LOVE. On Palm Sunday they are delivered by volunteers to nursing homes, hospital cancer wards and other places.
